Workshop Overview
- 2 day workshop. Either Sat+Sun, or 2 Sundays.
- 4-5 sessions each day, each session lasting 1 hour.
The workshop aims to make mathematics fun and interesting for students, sparking their curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject while focusing on enhancing their problem-solving abilities by teaching them to discover different strategies and approaches. Students are also introduced to advanced mathematical concepts not typically covered in their regular curriculum, sparking their interest in exploring mathematics further while helping them in their Olympiad and JEE preparations.
A typical workshop day has four to five sessions with each session focusing on teaching one concept.
In each session, we pick a topic from Olympiad or JEE syllabus and teach it from scratch so that even a class VI student can understand it. The students from higher grades gain a deeper understanding of the topic and the ability to intuit related abstract concepts. The primary learning method is through solving a carefully designed series of problems going from slightly elementary to more advanced ones.
We dynamically choose the topics for each session depending on the interest of the students. Two sample worksheets are attached below for reference.
